January1, 2008 Years ago, when I was 'told' that it was for me to go off into this unusual lifestyle and profession, I made a deal. That was that I would only be given information that I could use, and that I could always trust it. That would do two things for my comfort level: stop the influx of 'disaster' information of planes crashes, murder, illnesses, etc. that have nothing to do with me or mine and to make all errors my own. That way, I could trust that I have to stretch to find information in context and strive to better understand what I see and feel. It is a simple concept and one that I have learned to work with. It has always been my goal to find an honorable place to be of use and have some of the extraneous information help others, if they ask.
When I look into this new year, 2008, I find it very full of CHANGE. This word, ‘change’ alone, gives a lot of people hysterics, but please realize that change is necessary for growth. Our baby teeth must come out to make room for the permanent teeth we grow into, (remember the stage, when those teeth look so big in our little faces?); bodies change in size and shape as we age, whether we like it or not, even here in Beverly Hills. Change is a normal process, whether we are ready for it or not. Let’s attempt at least to be ready for it and find a way to go with the flow.
Attempting to find other years like this new one, I found three similar ones: 1968, 1776 and 1532. History is made up of headlines, remember that! While 1968 had many, many difficult losses all around the world, not just here in the USA, we also made progress in social changes, ecology and medical breakthroughs. 1776 was not just a time for the beginning of the US, but around the world, people began to demand some role in their country’s decisions. I think that we are still working on that, but it became a world ‘thought’ in 1776. 1532 was a year of cementing the fact that the Renaissance was a reality, and thinking was a requirement. Each of these years had very difficult changes, but also very many blessings. Think of where we would be without the gifts of 1968: the first successful heart transplants, The Double Helix by J.D. Watson (making DNA something most people could at least begin to comprehend), the Beatle’s “Hey Jude” and Jimi Hendrix, the rock play “Hair”, throwing away those bullet pointed bras (that Madonna made trendy again 20 years later, but as a joke!) ,both the USSR and USA believed that going to the moon was worth the dream, Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I have a Dream” speech, which is still a dream worthy of his gifts, and many, many more.
We do not have to make the changes be so hard this time around. Why not just learn from history, and morph a little easier than the in the past? 1968 also had posters that said, “What if we gave a war and nobody came?” and “War is not healthy for children and other living things.” New copies are in my office window as I write this. 2008 can be a year when we remember that we as humans began to hear the Universal music and tried to dance together for the first time. So what if we are kind of like those first school dances when most of those attending are standing along the wall for most of the time? At least, they are going and can hear the music and begin to get the idea….move together, or even separately, but dance.
I really do have hope for the future. There are so many old and ancient souls returning to the planet now, that I have faith in their abilities and past life experiences to get humanity through. All we have to do is keep the planet alive and well so that they can grow up. (“We do not inherit the earth; we pass it on to our children.” Native American saying).
I believe that now, more than any time in many centuries, humans have a chance for change. I also believe that they just may do a good job of it! We adults can help with designing a template and teaching tools to be able to continue the ideals set forth by masters so that there is a viable and robust future .Many, many gifted children are coming to the planet now. Helping to teach the honorable skill sets that are a natural part of the entanglement of the planetary species is a fantasy of mine.
Forecasting the future probabilities and finding benchmarks to determine these probabilities is something that I love to do.
These are just a few of the thought bubbles that come to me. With your questing, I think that I could stretch and do much more.
